CNC Machine Operator- Set Up
Volt is immediately hiring a CNC Machine Operator-Set Up in Huntington Beach, CA.
As an CNC Machine Operator/Set Up you will:
- Produce machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic or other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints & drawings
- Perform cleaning, deburring, and drilling to prep parts.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets drawing requirements.
- Assist in the assembly of parts using drawing and hand tools.
- Utilize properly calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools.
- Perform maintenance checks on machinery and equipment regularly.
- Disposes of scrap / recycled material into approved collection containers
- Other duties as assigned to support the production process.
This is a Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years with CNC experience
- Operate and Set Up CNC Mill/Lathe
- Must be able to use measuring tools such as caliper, micrometer, gauges and etc.
- Read blueprint and work orders
Schedule: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT 1-3 WEEKS) Monday to Friday.
Pay Rate: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
Pay Rate offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
