Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer

Under general supervision, the Sr.
QA Engineer will participate in design review activities; implement methods and procedures for product reliability analysis and developing test plans; conduct design and process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and process capability analysis.
Develop advance product quality planning for new products; participate in supplier approval and certification process.
Implement quality management system such as ISO9001-2015.
Review and disposition non-conforming materials and chair MRB meeting.
Serve as company liaison to obtain ISO certification and product certification RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Review engineering specifications and develop product reliability test plans and procedures.
Develop process control plans, part quality plans and perform Gage R&R analysis.
Coordinate agency approval activities for CE, UL, and CSA.
Develop FMEA for new products and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) for existing products.
Develop process audit plans, design review checklists.
Implement complex projects in Design of Experience (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Work with Manufacturing Design Engineer to develop Process Mapping, PFMEA and Process Control Plans.
Train staff on quality related topics.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
B.
S.
Degree in electronic, quality, or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience in quality within a manufacturing environment.
CQE certification.
Complete knowledge about DOE, SPC, FTA and FMEA.
Complete knowledge about ANSI Y 14.
5 and GD&T.
Complete knowledge of ISO Quality System.
Experience with the CE, UL, and CSA agency approval process.
Project management.
Good team- oriented, problem-solving ability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
QA lab and production environment.
Light travel required (approximately twice per year).
