KPMG is currently seeking a Global Director, Marketing -Technology industries to join our Market Development organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Accountable for developing and delivering programs to raise the external profile of the Technology, Media, Telecommunications (TMT) industry sector and the Global Tech 10 accounts with a particular focus on senior decision makers in target organizations
+ Develop and implement an appropriate mix of activities that highlight KPMG?s positioning and knowledge in the TMT sectors according to the business objectives of our global and US leaders which includes employing an omni-channel approach (media relations, industry conferences, 3rd party activities and external web presence on kpmg.com)
+ Accountable for the development, strategic planning and implementation of all Global/US TMT marketing activities ? aligned to and in support of the Global/US Business Plan as well as the development of a thought leadership programs addressing fundamental business challenges of our clients
+ Develop, execute, and manage a cross-functional integrated marketing strategy and execution plan to leverage across our sectors, segments, and channels
+ Oversee the marketing planning & budgeting process to ensure plans align to and support our US/Global strategy and meet established KPI?s
+ Act as the lead contact for Global/US marketing activity across the global network to ensure they utilize global/US programs and that best practices are shared and leveraged
Qualifications:
+ Minimum of fifteen years of experience leading and deploying integrated business-to-business marketing programs including project management and people management experience; preferably in a professional services firm
+ Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; Master?s degree is a plus
+ Deep understanding of industry issues and ability to identify cross-functional KPMG services and resources to help address those issues
+ Recognized as a leader by the sector leadership team, sector community and sector support functions and work streams as well as represent the sector when interacting with other firm leaders
+ Strong supervisory, performance management, monitoring and development skills for staff at a variety of levels

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
