Senior Structural Analysis Engineer

Job Description The In-Space Vehicles Engineering team (Seal Beach) is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Senior Structural Analysis Engineer that specialize in Structural and Loads Dynamics. This role will provide leadership at the enterprise level, in developing best practices in defining vibration, acoustic and shock levels and frequency spectra, for design and test of vehicle and components. Ideal candidate will Lead the development of new processes and tools, to assist in environment definition. Consults and participates in industry forums, to provide guidance to senior management on technology advancements and integration into research and business planning strategies.     Primary Responsibilities: Develops and implements enterprise level approaches to structural and stability analysis and testing. Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort. Assess emerging technologies to develop future product designs to meet projected requirements. Works with customers and regulatory agencies to develop certification standards and define processes that will ensure requirements are met. Reviews and approves certification results. (A U.S Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)   Typical Education/Experience: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's 14 or more years' experience, Master's with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard     Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Experience with structural mechanics, structural dynamics, vibration, and / or acoustics. Experienced with finite element modeling and analysis. Experience with dynamics testing and analysis such as modal, vibration, acoustics, or shock. Experience with PATRAN and NASTRAN system tools. Experience with programming and tool development.   Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with system and analysis tools such as, VisView, MatLab, and VA-One. Experience with software development, maintenance, and documentation of both industry and internally developed software tools is a value added skill but not required. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
