THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF AN ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION INCLUDING:
1) Performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems that provide a variety of functions such as heating, cooling, humidifying, dehumidifying, circulating and filtering air; 2) Examining, diagnosing malfunctions and making repairs to systems that include analog and/or direct digital control (DDC) systems used in complex heating ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems; and 3) Utilizing refrigerant tables calculating airflow and pressure-temperature characteristics for the different systems to locate problems. This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is:
